Solution:
Find the total number of apples delivered to a company.
12 × 42 = 504
The total number of apples delivered to company was 504.
Get the number of remaining apples.
504 – 4 = 500
Get the number of boxes of apples. This could also help us on multiplicative inverse property
500 ÷ 10 = 50
There were 50 boxes of apples.
